In the 161 minutes in the Rajkumar Hirani film, I couldn’t discover any scene to make me happy. Shah Rukh Khan’s Hardy appears to be trying too hard to earn suitable cash-flow. the affluent first collaboration he had in a film with Rajkumar Hirani is mostly a boring slog

Dunki is determined to argue for the desperate, vulnerable people from villages and small towns moving to the first world nations in search of better opportunities, but with his obsession with 90s-style humor from sitcoms and exaggerated frills, he fails to provide an argument that is convincing enough to feel bad about the current situation, or to root for its squatters.

In conclusion, Dunki is an emotional drama that hits of the correct notes. Although the plot seemed somewhat sluggish in some sections, Shah Rukh Khan’s performance is the main focus. It’s all about SRK and he is the only one who deserves the attention. While Vicky Kaushal also shines in her cameo and will win your heart with his powerful performance.

Hirani is a renowned filmmaker who keeps things simple. This is a benefit and in some ways, affects the film well. If the film is successful in a way that is full of quality, swagger and surprise. When it fails go well, it falls into a trap difficult to escape from. However, in an age where action films and spy movies are a rage, Dunki breaks the monotony and provides a breath in the air. It’s uplifting, heartwarming and uplifting. It reminds of the phrase, Sab Changa Hai.

Dunki may maybe not have been Hiranis perfect work compared with three Idiots as well as PK however it still leave you with a fuzzy and warm feeling after leaving the theater. And what better way to close the year than having SRK impress you with his silver screen again?

In the end, Dunki has its share of negatives and strengths. It’s not the cinematic masterpiece I was expecting to see from this duo Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani. I would like to see the duo collaborate in the near future, however with better narrative and execution.
